Do you have data that you want to add to your Blent collection, but it's not in one of your integrated systems? No need to worry, we've designed a simple tool just for you.
1. Follow the step-by-step guide
2. Complete your manual data in the Excel document.
On the basis of the data you want to add, complete the downloaded Excel. We will give you the example of the monthly one, as there is one additional column (column C) that does not exist in the daily format.- Column A is the name of your manual data. Be sure to write down enough information so that you can easily find it later (e.g. different room categories, different restaurants, etc.).
- Column B is the ID. If not provided by the document already, put 0.
- Column C is information for the system to know if it should divide the manual data by the number of days in that month or if it should apply that data to every day in that month. You will use a binary system to say if it is true or false. It can be filled with 0 or 1.
0 → False = Do not divide per day. The data should be applied for every day (e.g. ADR of 450 or occupancy of 70 should be applied to every single day of that month).
1 → True = Divide the data per day. This means that the data I enter is the data for the whole month, and it should therefore be divided by the number of days there are in that month (e.g. Room revenue of 30’000 for the month of April, this means I get a daily room revenue of 1’000). - The following columns correspond to a month of the year (or a day), and you can put your data here.
3. Import the completed Excel document.
Go back to your Blent window. If you have closed it, go back to Your Data and click on Import/Export by following steps 1 again.
In the Import data part, choose the format of your excel and select the document you just filled out. Then click on Import and wait for the confirmation email.
And Voilà, you’ve imported your manual data! You can now use this data in your reports, by using the Manual data widget.
