When creating a report, these are the Accommodation-related widgets that might come in handy.

For all the widgets described below, a wide range of filters is available to enable you to limit your data set to a particular revenue stream (for example, only for a particular property, or room type and market segment). Here you will find all the information regarding the mapping of your report.

Reservation-related KPI widgets
Rooms available
To see the size of your rooms inventory, select the "Room quantity" widget. This number is comprised of the room quantities indicated in "Rooms" in settings. Exclude all pseudo rooms.
Rooms sold
To see this metric, select the "Count the number of room nights" widget.
By default, this widget does not include the complimentary, house use and day use.
You can choose to include those by checking the box in the settings of that widget, like this:
Occupancy
To see the percentage expression of how many rooms in your hotel are sold, select the "Occupancy rate" widget. This widget will take into account the number of rooms sold and the number of rooms available, following the logic described above.
By default, this widget excludes those room-nights that have a rate plan that is marked as Complimentary or House Use in settings.
You can choose to include those by checking the box in the settings of that widget, like this:

Average rate
Here you have two options:
"ADR" widget - this widget will give you the total accommodation revenue (from the Accommodation revenue section of your PMS transaction code settings) per room divided by the number of rooms sold (i.e. including all the extra charges such as late check-out or pet fee, for example)
"Average rate per room night" - this widget will give you the average price at which a room-night in your hotel was sold
"Average rate per room night including all services" - This widget will give the average of the total revenue attached to a room.
RevPAR
Choose the "RevPAR" widget, to see how much accommodation department revenue you made per an room available for sale in your hotel.
Count the number of guests
To see how many guests are staying in your hotel on a certain date, choose the "Count the number of guests in the hotel based on stay dates" widget.
You can also choose to see the number of guests based on arrival or departure with widgets "Count the number of guests based on arrival" or "Count the number of guests based on departure".
By default, the widget includes guests from Complimentary, House Use and Day Use room-nights, but you can exclude them by un-ticking the corresponding boxes in the widget settings:
By default, those widgets will show you the number of adults and children but will exclude infants (baby). You can change this in the widget menu.
The age frame mimics the one from your PMS.
Average length of stay
To see how many nights on average your guests are staying, choose the "Average length of stay" widget.
Attendance Index
To see how many guests per room you were accommodating on a certain date, choose the "Average number of guests per room nights"
Reservation-related KPI widgets
You have 6 widgets that will give you the data on your reservations:
1. Number of stays newly received in a certain time period - "Count the number of newly booked room stays" widget
2. Number of room-nights within those newly received stays - "Count the number of newly booked room nights"- widget
3. Accommodation revenue from those newly received stays - "Room stay revenue newly booked" widget
4. Number of stays newly cancelled in a certain time period - "Count the number of room nights cancellation received" widget
5. Accommodation revenue for those newly cancelled stays amounted to - "Count the number of room nights cancellation received" widget
6. Number of room-nights within those newly cancelled stays - "Room stay revenue newly cancelled" widget
Usage example:
Booking Window
To see how many days in advance your guests are booking their stays, use the "Booking window : average number of days before arrival" widget. It will show you the number of days between the creation of the booking and the arrival date.
