How to register your events in Blent a list of events
Why creating events
The main reasons to add events to Blent are:
Keeping track of past events when analyzing data: Imagine reviewing last year’s report to plan your orders or staffing. It is incredibly convenient to instantly see if an event influences your results.
Including or excluding event periods from your analysis: For example, you may want to analyze your RevPAR for July 2025 while focusing only on regular business days, excluding rooms sold for wedding events. Simply use the filter to exclude the specific events of your choice.
Here are some examples of events you can add to your calendar:
High and low seasons
National and international events and holidays
Local events(e.g., town festivals, nearby concerts, etc.)
Internal occurrences, positive or negative, that may affect your KPIs (e.g., special promotions for certain dates, maintenance issues, etc.)
You can also select a customized color scheme for each event. We highly recommend establishing a specific color code, as this makes it easy to identify at a glance whether an event is likely to be financially profitable or unprofitable.
How to register your events in Blent
There are two ways to register events in Blent:
Through a list: This is the best option for registering all planned and known events at once.
Manually: Ideal for adding unpredictable events, such as a birthday, a machine breakdown, or similar occurrences.
How to upload your list of events
You can upload your event list at once. Consider the following points when filling out the document:
- Respect the date format of Excel
- Do not delete old events.
- For color, use the background option of Excel.

Example of a widget showing an event period:
You have 3 specific widgets to display events on a report and dashboards:
