Summary
Automatic sendings allow you, your team, your managers, owners, or anyone interested in your data to receive reports and dashboards by email at any time they want. This article explains how to set up those emails.?
Who can receive automatic sending
In order for someone to benefit from receiving reports first created in Blent, only their email address is required. This is the main advantage of this feature: the recipient does not necessarily need to be part of the team or have a Blent access. They can be property owners, a real estate company, potential investors, etc.
How to set up an automatic sending
Any reports or dashboards can automatically be sent to any email address. You can define your delivery schedule for daily, weekly, or monthly releases in either PDF or Excel format. You can also delete (or pause) an existing automatic sending at any time.
Please follow the steps below:
For daily sendings (meant to be sent every day), please do not forget to click on all days (having all days unclicked will trigger no sending at all).
For dashboards, please note they cannot be sent in Excel (even if the selection is available). The automatic sending will not be triggered. Please select PDF format instead.
Please think of ticking the box "Recalculate data before sending" to receive the latest version of the reports. (This box does not apply to dashboards, but you can still tick it)
IMPORTANT: Please note that if the data has been refreshed, after this point there is a 3-hour cool-down period, during which if an automatic refresh is launched for this report/dashboard, it will not be executed.
