The Pickup reports - monthly and daily - will give you deeper visibility into what the changes have been in the past several days in your incoming business and for what month/day. You will be able to track this change in terms of revenue, number of room nights, ADR, and the number of guests.

Pickup Daily
The Rev column represents your future accommodation revenue from the booked room rate.
Pickup Monthly

IMPORTANT! The very first line in the report must be a "Total" (widget type "Pickup") - this is needed for the correct functioning of the report. Do not modify anything in the "Total" line's settings, leave them blank.
3. How to correctly add the sub-elements
In your pickup report, you can choose to see your pickup data by several sub-elements. It can be by property for groups, or by market code, source of business, or other entities for an individual property.
4. How can your fiscal year or season be reflected in the Pickup report
Benchmark from external sources
In the pickup report, you also have additional columns with benchmark data from market intelligence sources if you have any of them integrated (such as OTAInsight (aka Lighthouse) and STR).
Here is an example:
You can add or remove one or both columns in the general report settings, as illustrated below:
NB! The Total value for each month or day does not equal to the sum of the sub-elements. The total line represents the total pickup of your hotel for that month or day. Please see the example below.
In your BLENT Collection, you already have some pre-made dashboards with pickup data. To see the detailed article about it, please follow this link.
6. Troubleshooting
For this particular type of report, to ensure the correct functioning of the system, please do not add the filters to exclude pseudo rooms, Posting Master, House Use, etc., the system will automatically make sure that those room types and rate plans are correctly contributing or excluded from the data set.
-
My Pickup report is on zero everywhere, but when I open the sub elements, there are numbers.
Please check that you have your "Total" line as the first line in the report. And make sure that "Total" line has no filters applied to it. See this tutorial here: 2. How to create a pickup report -
I don't see my budget
All the three budgets has to be filled out for them to appear. Check that your budgets have numbers. The Quantity of rooms' budget is the same for all subcategories.
7. Refreshing Pickup Reports
- The data gets refreshed automatically in a Pickup Daily report type whenever you open such a report.
- For the Pickup Monthly, the rules are a bit different: if it is a one-property account, and the report contains no foldable sections (meaning just one "Total" line), then the data gets refreshed whenever you open it. Otherwise, it is too heavy to be refreshed automatically and needs to be scheduled to be refreshed.
8. Accommodation Revenue -> Total Revenue
To change the revenue in Pickup from Accommodation to Total revenue. We have now a check box named "Show total revenue", it will switch Accomodation Revenue to Total revenue, meaning that for the past the revenue is based on Transactions codes (all), and for future we based on Room Rate + Services.
Important point: ADR is based on total revenue in that case
