This guide explains how to export and share your reports and dashboards in various formats—including PDF, Excel, and email—making it easy to collaborate and share insights both within and outside your organization.
Manually Exporting Reports & Dashboards
1. Sharing via Email in PDF
PDF format is ideal for printing or sharing a snapshot of your report layout.
To get a report/dashboard as a PDF:
Open the report or dashboard you want to export.
Click on the Envelope button
, type the email address on which you want to receive the dashboard and insert the date at which you want to display figures. For reports (only for reports), select the type of file you want to receive (here PDF).
Click on the "Send email" button.
The PDF will be generated and sent by email.
Note: Exported PDFs are static. Interactive features (like drill-downs or filters) won't be included.
2. Sharing via Email in Excel and Export to Excel
Exporting data to Excel is useful for deeper analysis, manipulation, or integrating with other workflows.
To get a report as an Excel:
Navigate to the report you want to export.
To send the report via email: Click on the Envelope button
, type the email address on which you want to receive the dashboard and insert the date at which you want to display figures and the Excel format.
To directly export the report on your device: Click on the
icon. To note that the export will be on the time frame that is displayed on the platform. The download will begin.
Note: It is not possible to export dashboards as Excel files. However, some tables within dashboards can be exported in Excel, by clicking on the Excel icon.
